Crochet Lace Stitch: Elegant Star Flower Crochet Lace Stitch

Hi everyone! Today I have another crochet lace stitch to show you! This is the Star Flower Crochet Lace Stitch, and I think you will really enjoy this one.

This crochet stitch pattern is worked in just 5 rows and then you’ll repeat Rows 2-5.

We will be working rows of V stitches and Dc2togs over a bed of chain 3 spaces. The V stitches and Dc2togs will alternate and then mirror each other in different rows. You’ll see what I mean in a sec.

Once you work the first 5 rows, you’ll start to see why this crochet lace stitch looks like a star flower! Or maybe it’s a butterfly? I’m not entirely sure, but it sure does look beautiful!

I am using size 10 crochet thread and a 1.65mm crochet hook, but feel free to use any size yarn and corresponding hook for this pattern. I just happen to love crocheting with crochet thread!

The written instructions to this lacy crochet stitch are available below, but if you’re a visual learner, I have a Youtube tutorial on this stitch, so be sure to check it out!
